Best AI visibility tools in 2026, compared on published facts

By Simon Vasconcelos Lee

Which AI visibility tool should you use? Seven platforms, compared on published facts: pricing model, entry price, engines covered, API and MCP access, raw answer traceability. Every line is sourced from the vendor's public pricing page, read on 2026-07-26, and the method is at the end.

The seven tools were not picked by hand. They are the AI visibility platforms the engines themselves cite most often on this market's buying questions, measured on our own panels in July 2026 (923 archived answers; the full numbers are in our study of what AI assistants actually cite). The table is ordered by published entry price.

The comparison

Tool Pricing model Entry price (published) Engines tracked API MCP server Raw answers kept
Epovest Prepaid, per use: $0.10 per prompt, per engine, per survey $10 minimum top-up, credits valid 12 months 4 All accounts All accounts Yes: every answer archived with its cited sources
Keyword.com Subscription From $6/month billed annually (AI tracking in higher plans) 9 listed Yes Yes Not specified
AmICited Subscription with monthly credits EUR 50/month 8 listed Enterprise plan Pro plan and above "Full answer archive" listed
Mentionable Subscription EUR 79/month 7 listed Not specified Pro plan and above Not specified

Rankfender Subscription $89/month 5 to 10 by plan Professional plan and above Not mentioned Not specified

"Not specified" reflects the state of the vendor's public pages on the read date; a correction published by a vendor is applied, with its date.

What each tool is, per its own pages

Epovest measures how AI assistants answer your market's questions, through the engines' official APIs, at your rhythm from daily to monthly. There is no subscription: you buy credits and only the surveys that run are debited. Every answer is archived with its cited sources, so every rate traces back to raw text. Changing prompts, engines, rhythm or resolution starts a new version of the series instead of rewriting history. The REST API and the MCP server ship with every account, so your own AI assistant can read and drive everything the app shows.

Keyword.com is a rank tracker that added AI visibility to its SEO tracking, covering nine listed platforms in its higher plans, with an API and an MCP server. Its entry price is the lowest of the table, for its search tracking tier billed annually.

AmICited tracks brand citations across eight listed engines on a credit allowance per month, publishes a full answer archive among its features, and reserves its API for the Enterprise tier, with MCP from the Pro tier.

Mentionable tracks seven listed engines with monthly plans and no long-term commitment, and offers an MCP integration from its Pro tier. Its pages are in French, and its Agency tier carries unlimited client projects.

Dageno tracks seven listed engines with daily to monthly reporting on all tiers, and reserves both API and MCP access for its Enterprise plan.

Rankfender monitors five to ten LLMs depending on plan, with webhooks and a custom API from its Professional tier, and integrations toward WordPress and non-WordPress CMS.

Profound is an enterprise-oriented answer-engine monitoring platform. Its entry plan tracks ChatGPT only; broader coverage and API access sit in its Growth and Enterprise tiers.

How to choose

Three questions separate these tools faster than any feature list.

How do you want to pay? Six of the seven run on subscriptions between $6 and $99 per month at entry. Epovest is the one prepaid tool in the table: $0.10 per prompt, per engine, per survey, debited only when a survey runs, with a $10 minimum top-up and credits valid 12 months.

Who reads the tool? If the buyer is a human reading dashboards, most of the table qualifies. If your own AI assistant is meant to read and act on the data, look at where API and MCP sit in each vendor's plans: in this table, two vendors ship both to every account or plan level stated, and the others reserve them for upper tiers.

Can you audit a number? A visibility rate you cannot trace to the answers behind it cannot be defended in front of a client or a boardroom. Check whether the tool keeps the raw answers with their cited sources: two vendors in the table state that they do.

Method

Tool selection: the AI visibility platforms most cited by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity on this market's buying questions, measured on our own panels in July 2026 (923 archived answers). Facts: read on each vendor's public pricing and product pages on 2026-07-26; promotional discounts are ignored, base prices only. Engine counts are the vendors' own published lists. The comparison contains no scores and no ranking: the table order is the published entry price. Corrections from vendors are applied with the read date updated. Figures may be reused with attribution.
